Day 21: lack of photos, lack of ideas @ Tuesday, October 5, 2010
This week, we are having a whole week of study, doing work and more studies, and the weekends we are going to Wudang Shan to relax our minds. “xian ku hou tian”, which means going through the hardship first, before tasting the fruits that are being bear during the process. What is more important today is the test that we had. Oh yes! Today we finally had our test. It felt good when the paper ended. It is because, the hard work that we put in have been put to use.
Reflection:
Some of the girls went to have their hair cut and went for hair treatment; they come back with a brand new look. I also had a chance to go in and look at how their business is being run. I noticed something out of the ordinary. Usually back in Singapore the hair stylist in the various salons all has something in common; that is they all wear black clothing. The reason for that maybe, the hair that was being cut “clings” onto their clothing, it will not be so noticeable. However, over here, the dress code is different. The dark colored pants or jeans are still seen. Their tops could be white or other color. Thus I find it quite amusing.
