Day 19 the day we went shopping (“xia pian”) @ Saturday, October 2, 2010
Weather forecast predicts today to be sunny but not scorching, with cool breeze and clear sky for the whole day. This symbolizes one thing and one thing only, a very good day to go shopping, and so we went to the place we are most famailiar with, "bu xing jie"

Reflection:
Price reduction seems to be the culture over here in China. Therefore, it is not wise not to ask for a price reduction before purchasing the desired items. As sometimes the items are overly priced or are charged at an unreasonable price. Some may experience the culture shock over here as we do not ask for such price reduction in Singapore. However, not everywhere you are able to ask for a price reduction. Some items are being priced at any international price tag, thus the shopkeepers cannot and will not reduce their prices even if you asked for it in your most polite and soothing tone.
