Day 4 - studies and more studies @ Friday, September 17, 2010
Today seems to be a mundane friday for me. Some people have monday blues, i seems to be having friday blues!
I think mainly it is due to me not being able to adjust to the environment here. The weather is definitely harsh once we settled down, till now. It has always been hot, hot, and hotter. I am definitely drained of energy and it is only like the fourth day in Wuhan. Hopefully I will be able to pull myself up and get back on track. Why the day is mundane for me is also because the others are out and I am here blogging. They did offer to ask me along but I rejected the offer, mainly because I am a little tired.
this is the breakfast i had today and it is a dorayaki (but a smaller version) my favourite!!!

Reflection:
Today I am able to feel the difference in the culture between Singapore and Wuhan. As today was ours IS module, therefore, our teacher is a lady from WUST. When she starts the lesson, I notice that she speaks rather fluent English. This makes it feel like we are studying back in Singapore.
No one owes Singapore a living.
We find our way to survive and prosper, turning challenge into opportunity.
The sentence “No one owes Singapore a living” is a wakeup call for all of us. Wuhan, China the population in this city alone is 8.97 million people, needless to say what is the total population of mainland China? Doing business or even working in cities of China is a fact that will not be far from reality. In China, due to the vast population, competitiveness is definitely very high. Therefore, it is a matter of putting in at least 90% of effort to help Singapore prosper, no matter how minute the results will be.
