Chapter 3 the last dance
Last day of the trip to three gorges dam and it is the last chance to look at such a phenomenal dam. Rise and shine people…… we have to wake up at 630 am instead of the usual 7.00 am to take our breakfast and rush off to our destination of the day. On the previous two days, we were on the cruise, touring the three gorges dam, however now we will be actually able to go up close to the dam and see the whole structure.

Reflection:
The three gorges dam is an amazing construction coordinated and performed by the Chinese government. It has its pros and its cons as to such a construction. Both are very visible to everyone. For starters, the advantages are, helps to control flood and helps to generate both electricity and revenue. The bad points would be, the nature is heavily disturbed, as a result, many locals’ needs to be relocated to other areas of China. However, at the end of the day, it is not up to me to decide which side outweighs the other. If there were no such dam, we would not have the opportunity to have been able to travel into such a remote and beautiful paradise.
